Hakuna Matata, what a wonderful phrase.

Yes, you should have no worries when it comes to Disney's "live-action" Lion King if you liked the orginal animated movie because this is pretty much exactly the same thing, seemingly almost shot for shot. It felt like all they did was CGI the cartoon. And oddly enough, that's why it felt like it was missing something. There was nothing fresh/new about it. This movie suffers the same exsistance as Vince Vaughn's shot-by-shot remake of PSYCHO which is... what's the point?

Of course in general the story was great and the voice acting was nicely done. To hell if I can figure out if anything (including the scenery) was real because every thing looked equally as amazing as the next set-piece.

I loved every second of it. Happy sad and beautiful all at once.

My favorite Disney Movie to watch for the first time that Pumba and Timon are friends, and it was super funny that the stampede for the hyenas are very dangerous, and I was crying for the few times, and it wasn't good at all, and also Just can't wait to be a king is my favorite part of the new movie for the whole time!!!

This was a good movie, but it's almost, if not exactly like the original. Matter of fact it felt like I was watching the original. I thought it was going to be a little bit different I guess. It was beautiful but I could have just rewatched the other one and never really knew the difference other than the fact that it was more detailed in appearance.

It's a Classic. One of the best Disney Movies. Mufasa death scene still made me emotional...

I don't know if we needed a live action version of the original version but hey, it's a great movie, a classic. Now people have an option to watch the animation or this version.

I'm not sure the death part is good for the little ones to watch but it does have a great moral to the story. Highly recommend for that.

HoleySchmokes the animation is breathtaking, and the feline motion (body-language ) was stunning if not SPECTACULAR! Half the theater audience was in tears BEFORE the opening title. [Looking forward to viewing it a 3rd time in 3D.]

Good movie, a complete replica of the original with minor scene changes. I couldn't tell from the cam quality of the animation of the second half, but the body motion of the animals didn't seem realistic compared to the first half and it looked cartoony. Will have to check again once DVD quality comes out. Overall 10/10

great film but felt like, they could have added more songs to it. Sucks because i'm not a musical guy but these songs were good; too good

It's kinda trippy watching all these realistic looking animals speak like humans.
Although i'll admit the songs were pretty catchy & well sung.
My lil nieces really enjoyed the movie, however as a big fan of the original Lion King I thought it left much to be desired.
