Since third party video sites may include any code, ads, viruses etc they want, we can't continue using embedding. With embedding enabled, we basically include all third party code into our website. Users wrongly think that it's our site uses aggressive ads.

I think this was the reason of our recent problems with "safe browsing red screen of death".

I will think how we can fix usability issues. Because now it takes too many clicks to reach the goal.

You could try putting the loading of the iframe behind an event. For example, where the embed usually is have a "fake player" with a play button. Then replace the fake player with the iframe when the user presses the play button. That way there's no chance of bad ads loading upon page load, unless they are ads on TM itself. Just an idea. I've seen other sites use this method as well.

@Smuff I'm not sure how Google detects viruses and stuff. I think we should just disable embedding.

@Dr.Evil I know of a sizable video bookmarking site that's using this method (or something very similar) to display embeds from hosts that are know to show bad ads, which is pretty much every host in this scene. I've never seen them get flagged as being a deceptive site. I can PM you a link if you want to check it out?
